According to clipboard they announce their blog

“Today, we are excited to announce a new feature that has been a popular request from our users, file uploads. With this feature, you can upload files from your computer to your Clipboard account and easily share and view the files in your browser from any computer. To start with, we are offering every user 1GB of free storage space with an individual file upload size limit of 25MB.

We support online viewing for a variety of file formats, for example, a Microsoft Word document, a slide deck in PowerPoint or a PDF.

The clips menu contains an option to download your uploaded files.

Currently your uploaded files will not be accessible via the Clipboard iOS application, however we plan to make them accessible very soon in an upcoming release.

We hope that this update makes Clipboard even more valuable for you. As always, please let us know if you have any feedback or comments.

Happy Clipping! “

Offer for now 1 Giga free so we can upload and share files, each having a limit of 25 mb in size.

The files that go can be public or private, as the clips created, but for now cannot be seen in mobile applications (and are working on this issue, as discussed in note).

For those who have not heard of Clipboard ye: this is an application that allows you to save what you find on the web, classifying texts, photos and videos, Evernote style to organize academic work, travel, reports, presentations, etc.

Allow up our computer files Clipboard transformed into something more than just Delicious, approaches the concept of online multimedia bank, where we have all of the useful information found or received from others.

Definitely a big step for a service that has long not shine as it should.
