How to reduce reduce size of png file

Most screen capture programs, especially if we talk about extensions in web browsers, save the file in PNG format, a format that takes up very little space if the image has few colors, being necessary to compress or change to JPG if we talk about a photograph or capture various shades.

An image that takes up nearly 400 Kb in PNG after being captured on the Internet with Shutter (known program for Linux Screenshots) can down to 100 Kb to export in JPG quality of 85%, for example, a reduction worth keep in mind when illustrating an article.

The problem is that often we have no time to open PNG to compress files in other formats, so it requires a program catches and do the job (as WinSnap for Windows, for example) or an application that can compress files quickly, like the one we present today.

It is tinypng.org , a web application that allows you to upload up to 20 pictures at one time, with a limit of 3 megabytes per file, thereby reducing the size of each while maintaining transparency (which, remember, not formatted JPG).
