TweetMap discovering GoogleMaps what planet tweets

The publication of news and trending topics on Twitter is a flow constant by the millions and millions of tweets sent, forwarded and read every day in every corner of the world. TweepMap is an online resource with which, on top of a Google Map we can locate and filter more than 95 million tweets sent globally (created from December 10 to December 30, 2012) and create your own keyword searches and activity in twittered around planet.

what are they saying to each other 300x200

What catches the attention of the tool leaving aside the feeling of viewing million Tweets mentioned is the ability to filter results by date, location, and topic by entering a keyword in the search.

This allows us to perform very specific searches on any topic anywhere. For example we introduce the word “winter” as the key and select USA for how many tweets were sent talking about winter in those days.

For now the search is limited to that period of two months but we hope to expand the search parameters soon.

Do not forget to share with your friends!
